Help those in need by honoring those who serve! Join us in the North Country Honor Drive this Saturday from 10am - 12pm. A food drive to benefit the greater North Country. We are giving away 1,000 masks!
The North Country Honor Drive is a partnership between the Beekmantown 7th grade, North Country Honor Flight, United Way of the Adirondacks, and several local fire departments including: Beekmantown, Plattsburgh District 3, City of Plattsburgh Station 1 (Cornelia St.), West Chazy, Peru, and Keeseville. Each department will serve as a drive-thru, drop-off location for non-perishable food items and household/hygiene supplies such as laundry detergent, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper and garbage bags. Plattsburgh District 3 will be set up with their aerial ladder and enormous American Flag centrally located in the Friendly’s parking lot, and they will be joined by the Cadyville and Morrisonville Fire Departments. As a thank you to our supporters we will be giving away 1,000 masks (while supplies last)! All donations will be delivered to United Way of the Adirondacks to be distributed where needed.
What better way to honor the memory of those who have served this Memorial Day Weekend than to help fulfill a community need. Donate safely from your vehicle on Saturday, May 23, from 10am - 12pm at any of our locations.
When we had to cancel the North Country Honor Run, we asked our students how we could help the community from home. They had so many thoughtful ideas, and we’ve tried to execute most of them https://www.facebook.com/eaglescareBMS/. Among other things, they wanted to collect food for those in need, honor those who serve, and give out masks to as many people as possible. The North Country Honor Drive intends to do all three this Memorial Day Weekend.
