Staff Qualifications: Parents’ Right to Know

Parents/legal guardians have the right to request information about the professional qualifications of their child’s classroom teachers. This includes whether the teacher has state certification for the classes being taught; and information regarding the State-mandated annual professional performance review (APPR) effectiveness scores and final ratings of the teacher(s) and Principal assigned to their child for the current school year. To inquire about or obtain this information, call the District Office at 518-563-8250, extension 5501, and request to speak with the Secretary to the Superintendent.
