Conveyance to The Dodge Library Vote

PROPOSITION I
(Budget)
 
To approve the proposed 2019-2020 school budget in the amount of $46,024,284, and to authorize the requisite portion therefore to be raised by taxation on the taxable property of the District.
 
 
PROPOSITION II
(Transportation)
 
Shall the Board of Education purchase and, to the extent necessary finance, four (4) student transport vehicles at an estimated cost not to exceed $453,210, including necessary furnishings, fixtures and equipment and all other costs incidental thereto and to expend a total sum not to exceed $453,210, which is estimated to be the total maximum cost thereof, and levy a tax for the foregoing in the amount of $453,210, which shall be levied and collected in annual installments in such years and in such amounts as may be determined by the Board of Education and in anticipation of the collection of such tax, bonds and notes of the District are hereby authorized to be issued at one time or from time to time in the principal amount not to exceed $453,210, and a tax is hereby voted to pay the interest on said obligations when due.
 
 
PROPOSITION III
(Board of Education Members)
 
To elect five (5) members to the Board of Education. The top three (3) candidates receiving the highest number of votes will fill three (3) year terms (7/1/19 - 6/30/22). These seats are presently held by Cathy Buckley, Michael Hagadorn and Holden Laidman. The 4th highest candidate will fill the unexpired term of Andrew Brockway commencing 5/21/19 - 6/30/21. The 5th highest candidate willfill the unexpired term of Shannon Drowne commencing 5/21/19 - 6/30/20.

PROPOSITION IV
(Conveyance to The Dodge Library)
 
Shall the Board of Education of the Beekmantown Central School (the “District”) be authorized to convey to The Dodge Library, a special district library serving the public, certain real property on which the library is located having an address of 9 Fiske Road, West Chazy, New York 12292 (a description of the property and tax map are available for inspection at the Office of the District Clerk) in accordance with a terms and conditions set forth in a proposed Quit Claim Deed, including that the Property shall be used for purposes of a public library only; the Property shall not be sold to any private entity or individual; and in the event the Property is no longer used for such purposes all title and interest in and to the Property shall revert to the District (a copy of the proposed quit claim deed is available for public inspection at the Office of the District Clerk) for public use pursuant to Section 405 of the
Education Law without consideration?
