Bus Maintenance & Inspections
Each year, our fleet is inspected approximately 103 times by the New York State Dept. of Transportation (DOT). We are proud to report that the Beekmantown Central School District has one of the best DOT Inspection pass rates in New York State.
The service department has had many accolades on their safety and maintenance quality.

BCSD Transportation Dept. is again awarded a certificate.
The BCSD Board of Education awarded the Transportation Dept. a plaque in 1998, which states:

Kevin Hebert also received a letter of congratulations from Assemblyman Chris Ortloff recognizing the Dept.'s achievements for three straight years of 99% pass rate.

Kevin Hebert received a Commissioner's Safety Award Certificate from New York State Commissioner of Transportation Joseph H. Boardman at the 1st annual New York State Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Safety Conference in Saratoga Springs.
The state acknowledges the District bus mechanics and drivers for a 99% bus inspection passing rate since 1998, one of the highest rates of the 2,800 eligible private and public carriers in the state. Only 17 were awarded certificates statewide.
