Bags of Hope for foster families
CHES Student Council is collecting items for children in foster care.
Our Grade 5 CHES Student Council is doing a community-based fundraiser to help children that go to foster care.
In the Bags of Hope drive, students are collecting items that would help foster children in their time of need.
Items they are looking to collect are:
- Backpacks or Bags with Straps
- Blankets
- Pajamas
- Socks
- Stuffed Animals
- Coloring Books
- Crayons
- Books
- Toothpaste and Toothbrushes (travel size)
- Shampoo and Conditioner (travel size)
- Body Wash (travel size) and Soap
- Lotion (travel size)
These new items can be brought to school from March 24 - April 4. Items can be dropped off in the boxes in the lobby or brought to the library in the mornings.

Student Council members created a list of potential organizations to support, then they voted to run the Bags of Hope drive. It was introduced at this month's Eagle Pride ceremonies.
Student Council members thank you for your support!
