Apply now for Pre-K programs

Applications are now being accepted for Pre-Kindergarten programs for children who are 3 and 4 years old. 

PK3 and PK4 program enrollments are based on a lottery system. Names for both PK programs will be drawn in late May. 

If your child is selected for the program, the registrar's office will email you directly.

 

PK3 Program

To express interest in the PK3 program, you’ll need to complete the PreKindergarten for Three Year-Olds Candidate Interest Application. 

*Your child must be three (3) years of age on or before December 1, 2025 to be eligible for PK3 in the fall.

 

PK4 Program

To express interest in the PK4 program, you’ll need to complete the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK4) Candidate Interest Application. 

*Your child must be four (4) years of age on or before December 1, 2025 to be eligible for PK4 in the fall.

 

If your child is selected

**Please note, you will only register your child if they are selected through the lottery system and follow the steps above.** 

The elementary main office will contact you to schedule a screening appointment for your child once they receive the registration packet.

Once you have been notified by the registrar's office you be asked to send an email with the following documents attached:

• Birth certificate
• Immunization Records
• Custody Documents (if applicable)
• Three (3) current Proofs of Residency
  • (All proofs of residency must contain the name of the parent/guardian and their physical address showing they are Beekmantown residents (such as driver’s license, phone or internet bill, electric bill, lease/rental agreement, auto insurance or NYS income tax return) and must be current. No handwritten documents are accepted.
