Final Phase Complete: District-Wide Security Project

 

The Beekmantown Central School District is pleased to announce the successful completion of a multi-year security initiative aimed at enhancing the privacy and safety of our campus entrances. The final installation was recently completed at Beekmantown Elementary School, marking the end of a district-wide effort to fortify all school entryways.

The core objective of this project was to obscure the view into main entrance vestibules from the outside. By utilizing specialized, high-visibility vinyl wraps, the district has effectively limited the line of sight for individuals outside the building while maintaining a bright, welcoming environment for those inside.

While Beekmantown Elementary is the most recent to receive this upgrade, similar custom vinyl treatments are now standard across all three of our other school buildings. This project strikes a vital balance: providing a critical layer of passive security while simultaneously beautifying our school exteriors with vibrant, school-spirited designs.

This initiative is a key component of the district’s comprehensive safety plan. By masking the interior of our vestibules, we provide our security teams and staff with an added advantage and ensure that daily operations remain private and protected.
