K-6 Summer Opportunity: Camp Invention

Get ready to discover!
Beekmantown Central School District will host Camp Invention this summer. Students currently enrolled in grades K through 6 are eligible for this five-day day camp.
This year's program features new adventures:
- Claw Arcade - Use physics and engineering to make a DIY claw machine
- Illusion Workshop - Learn about optical illusions and create a spinning animation device
- In Control - Learn about AI use in everyday items like GPS, and create a Control Panel to send secret morse code messages
- Penguin Launch - Join Snow-ver the robot penguin to investigate habitats and create magnetic penguin launchers
Campers will be introduced to world-class inventors, including longtime Disney imagineer and prolific patent holder Lanny Smoot.
Camp details:
- Open to students currently in grades K-6
- Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18
- 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day
- Breakfast and lunch provided
Space is limited, so register now at invent.org/camp
Cost: $285
- Sibling discounts and payment plans are available.
