Samantha Trudeau named Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Ms. Trudeau brings nearly two decades of experience in education to the role.

The Beekmantown Central School District has announced the hiring of Samantha Trudeau as its new Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.

Ms. Trudeau brings nearly two decades of experience in education to the role, including 16 years in the classroom and the past three years as an elementary principal. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside educators, students, and families who she credits with shaping her commitment to learning and growth.

"I am honored and excited to join the Beekmantown Central School District," Ms. Trudeau said. "Education has been my passion for nearly two decades, and I have been fortunate to work alongside incredible educators, students, and families who have continually inspired my commitment to learning and growth."

Ms. Trudeau described a guiding principle that has shaped her approach to leadership. "Throughout my career, I have believed that every decision should begin with one question: How does this improve outcomes for students?" she said. Her work centers on supporting teachers, strengthening instructional practices, using data to inform decisions, and building systems designed to help every learner succeed.

Collaboration is central to her vision for the role. Ms. Trudeau said her goal is to build strong relationships with educators, administrators, students, and families while fostering a culture of trust, innovation, and continuous improvement.

She also pointed to a phrase that has guided her career: "We Can Do Hard Things."

"I believe growth happens when we embrace challenges together, support one another, and remain focused on what is best for students," Trudeau said.

Outside of work, Mrs. Trudeau enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters and values every opportunity to continue growing as an educator and leader.

"I look forward to partnering with this outstanding school community and working together to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive," she said.
